Last Minute

So why is it in life we push ourselves to wait until the last minute? Is it because the pressure has built up in our mind, which is then quickly released as adrenaline into our body to save us just before our mind undergoes a similar effect of a nuclear power plant meltdown. I like to think of waiting last minute as a form of allowing ideas that I can utilize in a later task, to marinate my dendrites before they are brain-numbingly fried. Perhaps; however, the reality, as well as statistics, show that many individuals would say they actually perform better while accomplishing a task last minute; likewise, I concur to that.

You're probably wondering why I have even decided to bring this topic about on here. As a matter of fact, I have decided to PROCRASTINATE my studies on my final exams, gee-- surely I'm not alone on this bandwagon. Anyhow, as a result of last week's stressful test/homework cramming sessions, I wanted to enjoy the weekend without worries of any college related subjects, as I completely loathe tests of any type, especially those of which require the utility of a #2 pencil and bubbling.

As a solution, I have quickly scanned through my brain's reliance of stress relief. This has brought me to an article posted on FOXNews titled, "Do This Now: Seven Steps to Stop Procrastinating". Okay, I don't believe this will actually work; however, I will give it a shot and take a look at how my decisions are based from a species of rats in a lab. The article mentions, "Symptoms include: --When you face something unpleasant, boring," why this has actually hit it right on the spot! With further reading, this actually sounds like some Dr. Phil or someone associated. It also claims that individuals that have these symptoms are very disorganized and non goal oriented--WHAT?! Alright, this article is based on statistics which is quite useless even if it does fall within the standard deviation of our society. The article has some truth, yet it also reams of statistic bullshit.

Today will consist of my brain cells being filleted and boiled inside my cranium while I cram to study for my exam tomorrow, oh joy! Anyway, the moral of the story is not to wait till last minute (procrastinate) when you can allot more time beforehand to lessen the damage on your body from stressing.
